June 26, 2025 - New Providence, New Jersey—Today, The Basketball Tournament (TBT) announced the bracket for its 11th annual basketball tournament. Additionally, The Tournament unveiled their direct-to-consumer (D2C) streaming platform for TBT, powered by their D2C streaming partner Kiswe. This platform will allow fans around the world to tune into the tournament live in a fully branded experience for the first time ever. The games will be streamed live on http://thetournament.com/watchtbt.
Inside TBT’s Andrew Zoldan and Fox Sports’ John Fanta announced the upcoming tournament bracket for the 64 teams that will battle it out across eight regions—Wichita, Butler, Lexington, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Louisville, Houston, and Dayton—with the semifinals and championship to be played in Philadelphia.
More than 65 players with NBA experience will play in TBT this year, including Eric Bledsoe, Willie Cauley-Stein, Montrezl Harrell, Ty Lawson, Darren Collison, Yogi Ferrell, Thomas Robinson, and more.
The Basketball Tournament, the $1 million winner-take-all summer event, was launched in 2014 and has since hosted nearly 600 basketball games, introduced a new way to end basketball games, paid out over $13 million in prizes, and crowned ten champions.
This follows a successful partnership for The Soccer Tournament, where Kiswe flawlessly delivered 118 games live over the five day tournament.
"We had great success with TST and cannot wait to continue to grow the partnership by helping basketball fans around the world watch TBT for free,” said Jon Mugar, founder and CEO of The Tournament. “TST was executed flawlessly and we expect the same for TBT.”
This partnership continues to highlight Kiswe's leadership in the D2C sports streaming space, following its successful collaborations in the NBA and WNBA with teams such as the Phoenix Suns, Utah Jazz, and Phoenix Mercury, in addition to its long standing work with PPV.COM.
“We are thrilled to be working with The Tournament on its 11th TBT season and are excited at the opportunity to help connect basketball fans around the world directly to this exciting tournament format,” said Christine Pantoya, Chief Revenue Officer of Kiswe. “We look forward to helping The Tournament continue to grow their brand through our proven, D2C streaming model.”
