This week, Sportel Monaco is holding its 30th annual conference and featuring Kiswe in the inaugural Innovation Zone. Our Kiswe crew assembled at the Grimaldi Forum and had the incredible opportunity to meet with sports rights holders and broadcasters from across the globe. We talked, but most importantly listened, to gain a better understanding of the current landscape and how our cloud-based products can serve sports rights holders and fans worldwide.
After sharing all the ways in which our technology can grow and engage digital audiences during live games, we confirmed that we’re on the right track for the growth solution that many broadcasters are seeking.
We completely support the vision of Henri Birtles, CEO HBA Media, a global leader in production and distribution of horse racing content, when he says “Our approach is to deliver content that appeals to the widest possible audience”. Kiswe has shown how to use CloudCast to affordably grow the audience by adapting the live productions to targeted demographics and geographics. Thierry Pascal, Managing Director EMEA / SVP International for PGA Tour, confirmed this trend when he said: “We need to create new fans. Demographics need to skew younger and more diverse to help grow the game in the future.”
Sports federations more and more understand the need for proper localisation of productions and even start building out service platforms to help introduce international properties into their home markets. For instance, Hiroaki Dei, J. League Media Promotion Inc. introduced their ‘J. League Furoshiki’, a sports digital asset hub, incorporating the latest media technology and bringing international contents into Japan this year at Sportel.
We’ve got some exciting partnerships coming up and cannot wait to start working with each of them.
