NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ - April 15, 2024 - Smosh, the internet-first comedy brand, announced their sixth event with Kiswe, the leading direct-to-consumer (D2C) streaming company. “Smosh: The Sitcom Live” will feature an all-star cast of Smosh comedians in a sitcom-like setting. The show will premiere live on May 10 at 6pm PT/ 9pm ET on live.smosh.com.
The show will mimic the classic multicam sitcom, but with a few twists. The livestream parody will allow fans to add last minute lines, prop malfunctions and more improvised bits for the cast. If anyone breaks character or makes a mistake, they will be replaced by their double—so fans will get to see all of their favorites as the cast rotates in and out of the show.
In addition to “Smosh: The Sitcom Live,” the event will feature a YouTube pre-show at 5:30 pm PT, VOD access and a VIP aftershow. Ticket prices begin at $19.99.
