Kiswe team up with Dynasty Typewriter and Utopia to announce exclusive live premiere of “Not an Artist” and post show Q&A with cast and crew

Representing a continuation of their partnership, this will mark the third event Kiswe will be livestreaming with the iconic Los Angeles theatre

NEW PROVIDENCE, NJ – January 22, 2025 – Kiswe, the direct-to-consumer streaming technology company, announced its third collaboration with Dynasty Typewriter, the iconic Los Angeles venue, to present a live and global digital premiere of the indie film “Not an Artist”, distributed by Utopia. Taking place on January 28 at 6:30 PM CST at Dynasty Typewriter, the event will feature a Kiswe-powered global livestream alongside the in-person screening, followed by an interactive Q&A with cast and crew.

Distributed independently by Utopia, audiences will gain exclusive insights into the making of “Not an Artist”, a story about artists facing a make-or-break ultimatum: unlock their creative potential or abandon art forever, only to have an outsider disrupt their program’s balance starring Haley Joel Osment, RZA, Paul Lieberstein, and more. Kiswe’s technology will enhance the experience by allowing remote fans to connect in real-time with the live audience, engaging through cheering, chatting, and video selfies for a dynamic and inclusive interaction with the stars and creators.

This event marks Kiswe’s third collaboration with Dynasty Typewriter, building on two successful creator livestreams earlier this year. Together, they are redefining how physical venues and D2C livestreaming platforms can collaborate to broaden access to live events, reach global audiences, and introduce a new model for film distribution that blends exclusive digital screenings, paired with live in-person cast and crew participation to create a unique pre-release buzz just before films land on all the various TVOD platforms.

“Dynasty Typewriter’s premier venue, paired with Kiswe’s cutting-edge streaming technology, creates the ideal model for blending in-person and digital experiences,” said Glenn Booth, CEO of Kiswe. “This partnership highlights another unique application for D2C streaming and how this model can also help venue owners add incremental revenue and reach new audiences.”

“We’re excited to partner with Utopia and Kiswe to bring Not an Artist to audiences both locally and globally,” said Samuel Curtis, Dynasty Typewriter’s Head of Digital Content & Productions. “This collaboration continues our mission to share the magic of our live programming in Los Angeles with global digital audiences through immersive technology, creating unforgettable and enchanting experiences for fans everywhere. Our hope is that this exclusive digital premiere model, in tandem with offering a livestream/live chat with in-person cast, crew, and a theatrical audience, can be another innovative tool that distributors can use to further engage fans on day and date releases.”

“Utopia is always finding new and creative ways by which to share our films with audiences,” said Kyle Greenberg, Head of Marketing and Distribution at Utopia. “After hosting several successful screening events with Dynasty Typewriter, expanding the theater space to a global audience through Kiswe technology for Not An Artist's LA premiere felt like a perfect fit”

Tickets for the event are available now at live.dynastytypewriter.com for $15.
